Darrell Fuller

President and Partner

Darrell Fuller has over 25 year in the insurance industry, having successfully obtained the title of “Leaders Club” broker with Humana, “Platinum” broker with Anthem Blue Cross, and was chosen as a national advisor on Racial Health Disparities by United Health Group.

He is a graduate of Tennessee State University, with a BS in Marketing and Psychology.

He has worked in Senior Leadership with some of the largest independent agencies in the region, and successfully launched his own Insurance Agency 10yrs ago which he later sold.

Darrell has been recognized nationally as an authority on racial health disparities and writes and works occasionally with non-profits and other agencies on programs centered on this subject.

Darrell is very active in his community participating in several organizations, including 100 Black Men of Louisville.

He also sits on several boards including Peace Education Program, and New Directions.

Darrell is married to the former Christa Lowe, and has 4 sons.

Brandon L. Thomas

Director of Business Development / Partner

Brandon has been in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry since 2009.  In 2016, Brandon began specifically working in the Employee Benefits segment of the industry as a Benefits Advisor.  Brandon helped  business owners manage their employee benefits programs by offering risk rated association health plans, and community rated or ACA regulated fully-insured medical plans.  Brandon’s client size and complexity has progressed through years and he has been able to add self-funded, level-funded, and reference based pricing strategies to his repertoire to better meet the needs of  his client’s employees. 

Through his tenure in the industry, Brandon eventually was recruited to manage the Louisville Employee Benefits Team of a national insurance brokerage agency.  At that agency he led a team of 14 Sales and Service Teammates with nine of those individuals reporting to him.  Brandon was responsible for the overall profitability, operations, and internal compliance for a multi-million dollar book of business. 

Brandon is a West Louisville native and is involved in several community organizations as a board member including the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce (Executive Committee) and New Life Directions Ministries (Treasurer).  He has also volunteered with Junior Achievement at Shawnee High School and the Louisville Urban League’s Young Professionals (Membership Chair). 

When Brandon is not working or volunteering he can be found spending time with his wife and two teenage children.

Paul Neumann, CV

Partner

Paul was CEO and co-owner of Universal Woods from 1994-2020 and remains an active part of the board. UW is a leading global manufacturer of digitally imageable products and mezzanine flooring panels. Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky UW employees 250 people (40 STEM) of 28 different nationalities in three US and two international locations with sales in 80 countries around the world.

During his tenure, the business grew from $5M to $80M in sales and from 30 to 250 employees and created the Resindek, ChromaLuxe and Unisub product lines and brands.

Over 20 team mates achieved college degrees in a variety of areas as part of our education assistance program. UW, with retention rates above 90%, had active programs in wellness, smoking cessation and financial health.

Prior to his time at UW, Paul worked at Vermont American Corporation, the worlds leading manufacturer of power tool accessories. After a stint in finance and as a line supervisor in a carbide plant, he ran, in succession, a tool box plant in Michigan, an investment casting and masonry drill plant in Alabama and a power tool accessory business in Oregon. He then spent four years as Corporate VP- Industrial group responsible for 6 plants, 1000 total employees, and $110M sales based in the Louisville headquarters.

He has an MSIA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Economics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

He currently serves on two non profit boards, was a college trustee for 16 years and co founded the Peace Education Program in Louisville 40 years ago.

He is married to Arloa Eckels, a retired pediatrician and has three adult children. He loves reading and soccer.
